minds of music's most interesting performers,
national celebrities as well as hometown local
bands just starting out. Stories told musician-to-musician,

Frew, premiering Sunday, March 25, 2001

the art of song writing and performance.
Who
better to host a show like Road Stories than
Alan Frew: a five-time Juno Award winner and
Grammy nominee, recipient of three Canadian
Classic Awards and 20-year veteran of the
Canadian Music Industry? Through his experiences,
he knows, first hand, the true nature of the
sacrifice, determination and pain of the craft.
He is uniquely qualified to talk peer to peer
and get all the facts about the how's, why's
and wherefore's concerning some of the world's
favourite songs from those who write and perform
them.
As a vocalist and voice of the internationally
renowned recording group Glass Tiger, Alan
Frew has sold over three million CDs, albums
and cassettes worldwide. As a songwriter,
Frew has written numerous Top 10 hits, with
several of them reaching No. 1 position. Someday,
So Blind, I'm Still Searching and Don't Forget
Me (When I'm Gone) have all reached this plateau.
Still
one of the most recognized celebrities to
date, Alan Frew has toured and performed with
the likes of Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Julian
Lennon, Journey, Roxette, Cheap Trick, Creedence
Clearwater Revival, Huey Lewis, and Fleetwood
Mac. On the Canadian front, he maintains working
relationships and friendships with many top
artists including Tom Cochrane, Roch Voisine,
The Barenaked Ladies, Alannah Myles, Dan Hill,
and Marc Jordan.
