During
his second year of medical school, Alan was
approached by a local group of musicians,
whose desire was to produce him as their lead
vocalist. It was at this point, that Frew
uttered the most poignant yet utterly useless
statement that he ever made; "Okay, I
will join the band, but mark my words, I will
never go on the road!" In the summer
of 1985 this new band Tokyo decided to change
it's name to Glass Tiger and as they say;
"The Legend was Born."

this plateau. Alan is the recipient of three
